The Look: Sweetness that bridges the gap between shabby chic and major glam. We all know bows can add charm, kitsch, even a dose of sophistication to an outfit, but they can also offer the same to an interior. 

Seen In: Bows have a long style history: Flappers wore them on their cloche hats and t-strap shoes in the '20s; legendary hotel designer Morris Lapidus used them on the floors of the Fontainebleau Hotel in the '50s; and who can imagine Desperately Seeking Susan without oversize hair bows? More recently, bows have made appearances on the signature headbands of Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf and on the hat of Aretha Franklin in her enormous display of bow-daciousness at Barack Obama’s inauguration. And at Paris Fashion Week this winter, Tavi Gevenson, everybody's favorite pintsize blogger, looked as pretty as a present in silver hair and a pink bow at the Christian Dior Show.
