Our Pop Culture Expert is tracking fashion's most buzzed-about names on eBay. She's also rooting for Oscar winner Sandra Bullock in her feud with husband Jesse James.

Liberty of London: Flower Power on eBay

We all know what happens when something sells out in-stores: it totally turns up on eBay. Right now, Liberty of London's exclusive collection is burning up at Target. It’s so hot that many of the items—including clothing, bedding, pillows, pictures frames and kitchen accessories—are plum sold out. But not on eBay, where there are over 1,500 listings for the collection on the site, including many that you can no longer find in-stores. 

The eBay Stats: While there are currently over 1,500 listings for Liberty of London on eBay, on March 13th (the day before the Liberty collection hit Target stores), there were only 34 listings for the renowned British brand.

On Our Shopping List: This melamine platter is too perfect for outdoor eating and the canisters are so cheerful.

Celine: The Haute House Rises

The classic clothing of Celine is on the rise again. With the house’s appointment of fashion wunderkind Phoebe Philo as Creative Director, the brand is once again on top. Philo produced stunning, wearable, '80s Lauren Hutton-esque garb for spring that all of the fashion mavens are going ga-ga for (and countless other designers are knocking off). The neutral palette is ultra flattering and the shapes are so timeless—instant classics. The brand has been around forever. so it’s no wonder that there is a huge cache of items available on eBay. If you look at some of the vintage finds from the '70s and '80s, you can see subtle references in the current collection.

The eBay Stats: In the clothing, shoes and accessories category, there are over 700 Celine items for sale. We couldn't find a single item by Phoebe Philo for Celine or from the 2010 collections—perhaps since everyone is holding on tight to what they've got!

On Our Shopping List: These amazing Celine Acetate sunglasses from the 70s are out of control and this never-been-worn leather logo handbag has the most interesting and unique shape.

Sandra Bullock: Blindsided

Couldn’t the woman who is claiming to have had an affair with Jesse James affair wait like two weeks to let Sandy Bullock enjoy her Oscar glory? This much-inked-about inked interloper has rocked the house of James-Bullock so much that it has been reported that the misses moved out. Sandra Bullock is truly one of Hollywood’s most well-liked ladies and her fellow thesps seem to be over the moon with her Academy Award, so no doubt, public sentiment is in her corner. Her husband, on the other hand is dealing with scoundrel-level scandal. My hearts goes out to the sweetheart. Here’s how the divergent duo stacks up on eBay:

The eBay Stats:  There are currently over 1,000 Sandra Bullock-related listings on eBay and over for Jesse James.(We got the Jesse James number by adding up results for his name paired with Monster Garage, West Coast Choppers and I am Jesse James in order to eliminate listings for the American outlaw played by Brad Pitt in the popular movie.) The week after Bullock won the Best Actress Oscar, there were 668 Sandra Bullock-related listings and $2,990 sales, while the week before her win, there were only 552 listings and $2,142  sales. Being a winner has its benefits…
