Nutcrackers New and Nostalgic

Archaeological evidence shows that humans have been eating nuts for over 780,000 years. The crude stone specimens that passed as early nut-cutting tools have seen quite the evolution. We found a lot of different types of nutcrackers on eBay, from rustic wooden nutcrackers to vintage designer pieces to quintessential ballet-inspired, perfectly painted men. Not surprisingly, when we compared a recent week (12/2-12/8) with a week long period three months prior we found that eBay listings for items with the term "nutcracker" had multiplied almost four-fold, and eBay sales were up almost eight-fold.
