London fashion is arguably the most creative in the world. So it's no surprise that when we
asked our network of tastemakers for their favorite items from London Fashion Week, their choices were remarkably progressive and chic. Read up on their picks, and find similar

Who: Ninette Murk, Founder and Director of Designers Against Aids

What She Wants:

Topshop Unique Sweater Coat: "I love knitwear and huge cardigans, especially when they're made of cashmere, or in this case show cute little squirrels. (I'm moving to a house near Antwerp this summer that has a walnut tree in the garden where a couple of resident squirrels live.) Being able to wear cardigans is one of the few agreeable aspects of winter time. And this kind of 'cartoon' sweater style is easy to find on eBay, for instance [by searching] vintage Iceberg or JC de Castelbajac."

PPQ Gold Leather Coat: "I love leather. I just bought an amazing Hermès coat made of sightly padded and soft lamb leather inside and out. This gold coat by PPQ literally makes you stand out in a crowd. Plus, it goes as well with faded denim as it does with black or white wool trousers, and you can wear it day and night. If you can't wait until this coat hits the stores , I found this lookalike on ebay.

What She Wants:

Duro Olowu Floral Dress: "There are 2 moods that I constantly look [for in] London's fashion. I love always that 'English unique eccentricity' and then the 'dark gothic looks with a touch of rock and roll.' They are both powerful looks. This is why I was happily surprised that Duro Olowu's fall collection brought up some of that eccentric and very English colorful palette and prints. (I am loyal to him since he launched his business. My suitcase is always full of black and neutral clothes and colorful dresses from Duro, which don't take much space and are great mixed with eclectic accessories.) I will be wearing the long flower print ruffled dress.

Christopher Kane Embellished Dress: "When I looked at the shows' reviews online, (since I don't have time to go to the shows any longer), I loved also finding in Christopher Kane’s collection these beautiful dresses [that are a] mix of rock star outfit and sacred at the same time, which took me to straight back to my teen years again (when I was a rebel in boarding school days in England). This dress will be a sure one to add to my next winter wardrobe."

Charles Anastase Coat: "I love the cocoon-like effect of this style. I love how the heavy texture pulls the line down to wrap the volume of fabric around the body. There is an edge of masculinity to these pieces that’s made feminine and more wearable by definition at the waist. The nonchalance in transforming an old coat or man’s dressing gown into a sculptural silhouette with an old belt knotted around the middle is very appealing to me!"

Vivienne Westwood Leopard Print Sequin Strapless Bustier Dress: "I love Westwood. You really can't go wrong with it, any time, any place, any where. This dress engaged me the second it came down the catwalk. I love the bustier style as it's so timeless, and leopard is always a winner... Makes you look and feel 'dressed up.' Any trashy connotations animal prints and sequins have aren't evident, although they should be! You just know you will have a great night when you wear this dress."

Meadham Kirchhoff Accessories: "I am an accessories fanatic: the bigger, noisier and more eclectic, the better. The great designer Alexander McQueen recently passed away. He was a good ol’ London boy that created one of a kind fashion, so in checking out what is going on at London Fashion Week, I can't help but want to find something that demonstrates some flare, artistry, flamboyant chicness to keep my hope alive that there are still creative spirits out there that take it to the edge. Heavy embellishments on the runway at Meadham Kirchhoff caught my eye in a hot minute. I would wear them with an all black look for high drama. I know these will make all Tokyo kids go wild. With all of the mismatched bangles and arm cuffs and rings [in this look, well] make that a double please.

Aquascutum Short Camel Jacket: The camel color's perfect for fall and I love the way the collar melts into and rounds off the shoulders. It's lady-like and classic, but not stuffy (at least not when worked into my wardrobe of ripped jeans and skinny black pants).

PPQ Dress: "PPQ has locked down some of the key trends in one perfect party ensemble. The little black number, which opened the show, was a vision of luxury in sumptuous velvet with decadent gold tassels and trimmings. The nipped in waist, peplum and slim-fit skirt silhouette meant that it was sexy, modern and guaranteed to flatter."

What She Wants:

Richard Nicoll Dress: "I'm in love with Richard Nicoll's new collection. The unexpected color palette feels fresh, and the fabrics are exquisite. I'm usually a woman who wears head-to-toe black, but am keen to inject a bit of colour next autumn. That's why this rust Richard Nicoll dress appeals to me."

Louise Gray Dress and Shoes: "There's something really easy about Louise Gray's collection. Though it's eye-catchingly bright and poppy, the fabrics and cuts are relaxed and comfy. I love this party dress, but am particularly in love with these shoes, with rubber eraser detailing on the laces."
