Tommye Fitzpatrick,
blogger, Fashionologie
Military
She started news blog Fashionologie when she was still a student at Duke University. Now it's one of the most well-read blogs in the industry. "Last fashion week season, Carine Roitfeld [of French Vogue] was wearing lots of military colors—khaki and army green; she's kind of a bellwether of things to come," says Fitzpatrick. "Already, there seems to be a widespread obsession with olive parkas. Skinny cargo pants and other military-inspired pieces surely won't be far behind."

Leather In Soft Colors
Privitera, who works in marketing by day, launched Three Inch Heels as way to channel her love of fashion and give advice on how to get that classic, crisp, all-American look. She counts Project Runway's Nina Garcia as a fan. Privitera says, "I love leather in cream, pale yellow, pale pink--on jackets, skirts and even on accessories. It looks great mixed with a more feminine fabric, like chiffon or lace."

Suede Leather Wrap Jacket (starting bid, $9.93), Max Azria Grey Leather Mini Skirt (starting bid, $79), Burberry Yellow Pleated Skirt (buy it now price, $350)
