VIDEO: eDrop-Off Founder Corri McFadden On Going Green, Luxuriously
After hearing so many impressive stories about top eBay sellers who are “going green” in new and different ways, the eBay Green Team decided to find a way to let these inspiring entrepreneurs tell their own unique eco friendly ideas. In the first part of a new micro-documentary series featuring eBay sellers dedicated to the green movement, the eBay Green Team pays a visit to Corri McFadden, founder of eDrop-Off.
Established in 2004, McFadden's Chicago-based business, eDrop-Off is the nation's premier eBay store specializing in reselling high-end and luxury items. Since its inception, eDrop-Off has recycled, reused, and repurposed over 300,000 pounds of pre-loved goods, extending the life of thousands of highly-coveted vintage and designer clothing and accessories, from Chanel suits to Louis Vuitton suitcases and Lanvin dresses.
Not only has eDrop-Off kept countless pre-loved designer items out of landfills (where we'd hate to imagine these designer duds!) but the company is also a huge champion of the eBay Box program, a new initiative featuring environmentally friendly, durable shipping boxes designed to be used again and again.
Check out the video below to seeing how green business owner Corri McFadden is creating her own definition of eco friendly.
