Known for its pristine collection of 1960s and 1970s vintage eveningwear, Decades is a must-stop for celebrity stylists and their clients when preparing for a trip down the red carpet. Gwyneth Paltrow, Chloe Sevigny, Nicole Kidman and more have made headlines wearing designers like Christian Dior, Loris Azzaro, Yves Saint Lauren and Thierry Mugler sourced from this influential boutique. The driving force behind Decades, owner Cameron Silver is renowned for his ability to make vintage feel contemporary, even fashion forward. This year, the Los Angeles-based collector and curator would like to buy himself a pair of Givenchy oxfords from the label's Spring 2009 collection. "I thought they were hideous when I first saw them, but they grew on me. Then it was too late and they had sold out!" says Silver.
