3 New Accessories Trends to Try
Three new accessories trends take retro styles to the extreme: the fetish heel, the new creeper and the ‘70s pimp hat. They may be daring, but we promise you can pull them off!
The Fetish Heel
Not only will a high heeled, preferably black, fetish shoe add a whole lotta height to your stature and edge to your style, it will also offer you a dose of serious sex appeal. While these may not be the right shoes for the office (though you could try pairing them with something super conservative and buttoned-up for the ultimate contrast), they'll sure make a catwalk out of your next date or holiday party.

The New Creeper
The creeper shoe was first seen on ex-British soldiers in London after World War II and then appropriated by the “Teddy Boys” in the ‘50s (a group of young men whose clothes were inspired by the dandies of the Edwardian period). But you probably know it from the punks of the '70s and '80s. This fall, Burberry tweaked this favorite of subcultures sets throughout history by giving it a sleek platform wedge.

The '70s Pimp Hat
Forget the actual implication of the pimp persona and just follow the vintage sassy style. A little mysterious, a lot of fun, a brightly-colored fedora (with or without feathers) will instantly up your cool factor. A hat like this is an antidote for a bad hair day, a much needed oomph for a weekend about town or a fun extra for a night out with the girls.
