Polished looks and firmly defined personal styles defined our roundup of street fashion on a crisp day in Dallas.

1. Allyson Price, 23 (above, left)

Where: Shopping with her boyfriend in the West Village.

What She's Wearing: “I got these boots from my favorite label, Naughty Monkey. The skirt and tee are from Urban Outfitters.”

Christmas Wish List: “I love this birthday girl dress by BCBG with a sweetheart bust line and black and maroon lace.”

Style Icon: Nicole Richie

Personal Style: “Hippie-chic. I like to wear high-waisted skirts and balance the look out with tall boots or a very high heel.”

2. Rosemarie Forsythe, oil company executive (above, center)

Where: Chanel at Highland Park Village.

What She's Wearing: Tory Burch skinny jeans, tall boots with gold zipper in the back, a cashmere sweater with attached gold and black necklaces, Chanel earrings and Fendi frames.

Favorite Stores: Tory Burch, Hermes and Chanel

Prized Possessions: “My Hermes scarves. I have over 100. My husband gives them to me to celebrate special occasions and anniversaries.”

Personal Style: “Elegant with an edge.”

Personal Perspective on Dallas Style: “I love that women take pride in their appearances.”

3. Baxter Finkbohner, student at SMU, originally from Mobile, AL, 18 (above, right)

Where: Shopping with her younger sister at the West Village.

What She's Wearing: Pink Tracy Reese pea coat that she stalked online until her mom bought it for her, Steve Madden flat boots with a side-buckle and a Tory Burch bag.

Favorite Trend: “I love exposed zippers on jackets, dresses and bags.”

Style Icons: Audrey Hepburn and Twiggy

Fashion Mantra: “I don't like to follow trends; I like to set them.”

4. Wes Medlock, 27, salesperson at Barneys New York Salesperson, 27 (above, left)

Where: At his Dallas digs.

What He's Wearing: Vintage wool blazer and silk pocket square, Thom Browne oxford shirt, and Ray Ban frames.

Personal Style: “Sophisticated Hippie”

Favorite Dallas Stores: Barneys and Thrifts

5. Natalie Smith, 30, Designer at Seven Seas Clothing, 30 (above, center)

Where: En route to have cocktails at La Cubanita

What She's Wearing: Calvin Klein jacket from Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters scarf, Seven for All Mankind jeans, Fendi purse and Indigo by Clarks boots.

Favorite Dallas Stores: Nordstrom, Blink, Urban Outfitters, Pitaya

Holiday Wish List: “A Tory Burch metallic clutch wallet and a Michele watch with a leopard glitter patent leather strap.”

Fashion Mantra: “If you don't feel comfortable, you won't look comfortable.”

6. Ross Watts, catastrophe claims adjuster and model, 28 (above, right)

What He's Wearing: A concert t-shirt of The Parlor Mob purchased at Austin City Limits concert, a relaxed military-style blazer by GSUS Sindustries that was a gift from a friend who visited Russia and a pair of TOMS shoes.

How Modeling Has Affected His Personal Style: “I don't know that modeling has changed my personal style so much, but it has taught me to be comfortable with whatever I am wearing.”

Closet Staples: “I like to keep it all simple and am not much of a brand buyer other than v-necks from Urban Outfitters because they are so comfortable and have the super-V. I usually go with a shoe that has a flat, low profiled sole so the Toms are great for that as well as easy and comfortable. But I like the charitable contribution of the shoes more than anything.”
