Queens always know how to travel in style. In 1953, a young Queen Elizabeth II ( and Prince Philip) embarked on an excursion to the Indian Ocean aboard the royal yacht Britannia, not long after her coronation. When she arrived in Fiji, the people there showered her with gifts, formal receptions and flowers, flowers and still more flowers.
