Celebrity Brides-to-Be, Styled by Us

Lately, it seems like the most important industry in Hollywood isn't entertainment, but rather, celebrity weddings. Last month, country singer LeAnn Rimes wed Eddie Cibrian in a surprise ceremony for 35 guests, while Reese Witherspoon tied the knot with agent Jim Toth at the actress's Ojai, CA ranch. Then, of course, there's the royal wedding, which, while not officially a Hollywood affair, certainly had the makings of a feature film (and landed the cover of every celebrity rag).

Further, it seems like every time we open up TMZ, Perez, PopSugar and the like, there's news of a celebrity engagement. Among the members of the bride-to-be-club: Natalie Portman, Kat von D, Jessica Simpson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Lily Allen, Kate Moss, Sherrie Shepherd and Amy Smart, along with Kate Hudson and Kristin Cavallari, who just announced their celebrity engagements in the past couple of weeks.

Whether the newest round of celebrity weddings are going to buck tradition (like Reese in her blush-colored Monique Lhuillier) or go down the customary white dress path, they will all certainly sparkle. Here's how eBay's The Inside Source would outfit a few of them, should we have the chance.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman

It has been a big year for actress Natalie Portman. Not only did she win the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in the psychological thriller "Black Swan," but she also announced that she was engaged to the film's choreographer, dancer Benjamin Millepied, and expecting his child. (Click here to see the scoop on her ring.) Since the happy celebrity couple met on the set of the ballet-themed film, we thought Natalie Portman should use Rodarte's ethereal custumes as inspiration for her celebrity wedding dress. Lily Allen

Lilly Allen

British singer Lily Allen is marrying her long-time beau, business owner Sam Cooper, this summer. Rumors are that Karl Lagerfeld will be designing her wedding dress. Whether these reports are true or not, Allen is a go-big-or-go-home type of gal when it comes to pretty much everything. (Her recently leaked save the date card features her and Sam Cooper riding a tractor.) Lily Allen is also a huge vintage fashion maven. She owns Lucy in Disguise, a London-based vintage shop, with her sister, and just previewed her new ready-to-wear vintage-inspired collection to the press. Ginnifer Goodwin

Although the characters she plays often find themselves in interesting romantic situations (“He’s Just Not that Into You,” “Big Love,” and the upcoming “Something Borrowed”), Ginnifer Goodwin will get a more traditional romantic storyline when she weds fiancé Joey Kern. While her onscreen characters tend to dress on the dowdy side, Ginnifer Goodwin has proven to be a red carpet darling with her fashion trendy celebrity outfits. We see her wearing something sleek and head-turning for her big day. (Photo by Jeff Vespa/WireImage)

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson

Everyone’s favorite former newlywed is walking down the aisle again, this time with former NFL player Eric Johnson. Simpson’s traditional strapless Vera Wang wedding dress with daisy-inspired lace from her 2004 wedding to Nick Lachey was highly publicized, not to mention copied by many brides. Fans will be waiting with baited breath to see what celebrity wedding dress Jessica Simpson will wear the second time around. We hope she surprises us. (Photo by Bryan Bedder/Getty Images)
